Somali deputy army chief survives bomb attack in Mogadishu

MOGADISHU (HOL) - Somali deputy military chief Brigadier General Abbas Amin Ali survived a landmine explosion in Mogadishu Sunday morning, sources said.
The convoy of Brigadier General Ali was driving along Abdi Qassim road in Hodan district when it hit a landmine.
Sources said the military commander alongside other soldiers were rushed to military headquarters for treatment.
There was no immediate information on the exact number of casualties.More to follow.
