MOGADISHU (HOL) - Villa Somalia director of communications Abdinur Mohamed has been promoted to deputy director of staff having served in the country’s top office for three years.
The Presidency said in a statement Friday Mohamed had been promoted to the position noting that his position is well deserving.
“Abdinur has displayed competence, hard work and diligence. I wish him prosperity in this new position,” President Mohamed Farmaajo said.
The statement added that the president ‘has absolute confidence in the energy, vigor and skills of the young folks in our country.
Mohamed’s role will be to oversee the management and coordination of the president’s programs and priorities including delivery of projects and pledges according to the statement.
The new deputy director joined Villa Somalia in 2017 as communications director and formerly served as a journalist.
