Minneosta counts 20 more deaths from COVID-19

Minneapolis (HOL) - At least twenty more Minnesotans have died from complications related to COVID-19 the State health ministry announced on Tuesday, bringing the total number of deaths to 2,301 in Minnesota.

A majority of the reported fatalities were senior citizens. Five of the deaths were residents over the 70, eight people were in their 80's, six people in their 90's and one person over the age of 100.

MDH added that there had been 128,512 total cases of COVID-19 in Minnesota. The total number of positive results is up from 1,561 from yesterday's tally.

There are currently 154 Minnesotans that are in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) as ar result of COVID-19. Another 430 people are in the hospital but not receiving critical care.
