MOGAISHU (HOL) - President Mohamed Farmaajo has announced new changes at the helm of Banaadir Regional Administration in what Villa Somalia said was aimed at improving service delivery.In the new changes, Abdulkadir Mohamed Mohamud will be the new deputy governor in charge of finance and management while Ali Abdi Wadhere will serve as second deputy governor responsible for security and political affairs.
Farah Abdi Dini will head the public works department while Hirey Ahmed Roble will be the new secretary. Banaadir Regional Administration which is under the purview of the Federal Government encompasses the capital Mogadishu.
Villa Somalia Director of Communications Abdirashi Hashi said the president made the changes to ‘heighten the quality of service delivery at the Benadir Regional Administration which also manages Our Capital Mogadishu.”
He added that the ‘restructuring is part of a raft of measures intended to improve the City and address public needs.’
