MOGADISHU (HOL) - Prime Minister Mohamed Roble has convened a three days meeting with his new cabinet to deliberate on development agenda for the remainder of the term.
The Office of the PM said Tuesday the council of ministers will draft a program of activities for the next one hundred days.
The retreat, the OPM said will take place at the newly built Dacale Hotel located within Aden Adde Airport in Mogadishu.
The meeting comes about two weeks following the approval of the cabinet by the Lower House.
Top on the agenda for the new government will be preparing the country for elections which kick off next month and culminating into the election of a new president in the first week of February.
Key for the new cabinet is also implementing development projects left by the previous administration including economic reforms, mobilisation of domestic revenue to fund the national budget and attending to ongoing climatic shocks such as flooding and desert locust invasion.
