Somalia beats Zimbabwe 1-0 in 1st leg of World Cup 2022 qualifiers

DJIBOUTI (HOL) - Somalia has thrashed Zimbabwe 1-0 in the first leg of the 2022 World Cup qualifier match played in Djibouti today.

The Ocean Stars displayed a sterling performance in the 90 minutes humbling Zimbabwe which was touted to win.

Though the Ocean Stars lost a number of chances, they were able to subdue their rivals to carry the day.

The second leg of the match will be played in Harare, Zimbabwe September 10.
