Dhusamareb (HOL) — Police in Guri’el district have arrested a 25-year-old man suspected of killing a local resident, security officials said.
The suspect, identified as Ali Abdi Jama, was arrested during a joint operation carried out by Guri’el police and other security forces, including military units operating in the area.

Officials said Jama is accused of killing Abdishakur Hassan Geledi a day earlier in the Madaraso Sheikh Mohamed area near Ilix.
Security officials said the suspect is being held at Guri’el District Police Station, where formal investigations are underway.
Investigators are gathering evidence before the case is referred to court, officials said.
Authorities said the case remains under active investigation and that further details will be released after legal procedures are completed.
