He is expected to be taken to court once the investigations are complete
Garissa (HOL) — Kenyan police arrested a suspect in Garissa County on Monday in connection with recent violent robberies in the area, the National Police Service said.
Police said the suspect was wanted over offences committed within Garissa Township and is currently in custody.
In a statement, police said officers were conducting investigations, pursuing leads and gathering intelligence to identify and locate others responsible for the robberies.
“The National Police Service remains committed to tackling crime, protecting the public and ensuring offenders are held accountable under the law,” the police added.
Police also urged members of the public to work closely with law enforcement agencies by providing timely and credible information that could help improve security, arrest criminals and protect communities from potential threats.
