Foreign Minister of Somalia Fowsiyo Yusuf
Haji Aadan is in Addis Ababa preparing to meet with foreign ministers
from member-states of the Inter-governmental Authority on Development
(IGAD), Somalia's RBC Radio reported on Saturday (April 6th).
This week's meeting will focus on regional security and
IGAD-initiated plans for Somalia, including the National Security and
Stabilisation Plan (NSSP), which began in September 2011.
"The NSSP was an IGAD-formed programme but now it has become a
Somali-owned plan and I am grateful that it will open the door of peace
to our people," Aadan told reporters before her departure.
